Background Agent not found

Steps to Reproduce

Create gfithub codespace on private repo. Give it a task, try to open in cursor. Opens in Cursor, tries to connect and fails with “you cannot make changes to this Background Agent or does not exist.”. Public repo works.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Have not tried GitHub codespaces - do you have a fork of this repo in your own repo list? If you go to Cursor dashboard → integration settings, do you see the expected private repo in your repo list? Cursor - The AI Code Editor

I got it to work on Linux with Cursor on Ubuntu 24 somehow.
But on Windows 11 I get this error on any Github Codespace.

Anyway I can work with Linux for now, to view Background Agents and give them commands after they have done their work.
