I’m trying to setup Bedrock IAM roles and can’t see the option in cursor dashboard. Is IAM role setup only available in Enterprise? I have a Pro subscription at the moment.
I could use access keys, but I’d prefer not to have long lived access keys for security reasons.
[EDIT] I am hoping that perhaps a 1 person Teams subscription would unlock Bedrock IAM roles access, but I’d like confirmation before subscribing.

Bedrock IAM Role setup is configured via Cursor Dashboard https://cursor.com/dashboard Settings > Bedrock IAM Role and it’s available on Teams and Enterprise plans. On Pro, this section won’t show up in the dashboard. On Pro, you can only use static access keys via the IDE Cursor Settings > Models > AWS Bedrock.
About a 1-seat Teams subscription, yes, that should unlock IAM role setup in the dashboard. Full setup guide: AWS Bedrock | Cursor Docs.
If you want to be 100% sure first, you can message support via the dashboard before switching to Teams.

if I’m already paying for a Teams/Enterprise subscription, what’s the value of routing through Bedrock? I’m essentially paying Cursor for the IDE and AWS for inference. Is the main benefit purely around data control, compliance, and auditability (CloudTrail, VPC endpoints, no data leaving my AWS account)? Or is there a cost/model flexibility angle I’m missing?
