[BUG?] Multiple Active Sessions Created When Logging In – Other Device Gets Logged Out

Hey everyone,

I recently encountered something strange with Cursor on Windows and wanted to see if anyone else has experienced the same thing or might know what’s going on.

When I logged into my account using the Cursor app on my Windows machine, I noticed that over ten new “Active Sessions” appeared simultaneously in my account settings. At the same time, my other device, which was already logged into Cursor, got forcefully logged out.

This happened right after a fresh login – no device switching or anything unusual on my end. Just a standard sign-in, and then boom: multiple sessions and my second device kicked out.

Is this a known bug? Or could it be something misconfigured in my account settings?

Appreciate any insight or suggestions – not sure if I should be worried about this or if it’s just an annoying quirk.

Thanks!

maybe you can try version 0.48.7 ,it works with me, I meet this issus when using 0.48.9, when I fallback to 0.48.7 everything is ok

0.48.9 will active more than 10 session on single login action, I think this is the reason, 0.48.7 single login active just one session
