I’ve been experiencing a weird issue with constant auto-logouts lately. I think it might be because I’m using 2-3 devices and moving around a lot. This never happened before, but it started about a week ago. Anyone else dealing with this?
Me Too
anyone help please? This is so annoying!
+1, and I only have 2 devices. Plus, I promise I won’t use them at the same time.
Hope they fix it soon, or at least give us an answer
I am using Cursor for 6 months, but now if they can’t resolve this, maybe i should find another
So am I.
Hey, you shouldn’t use Cursor on multiple devices simultaneously.
So am I.
This never happened before, but it started about a week ago.
this is new update right? Because before i can use without facing that
It’s challenging for me because my job requires using multiple devices. I’m considering leaving and finding a new one
I am using the latest version.
Both my home and office computers use Cursor.
Every time I use Cursor, I have to log in again.
e too. I have 2 computers… If I’m logged in on one, the other requires a login again.
I hope this limitation can be removed. I only use Cursor on two computers, but I have to log in every time.
It’s not ideal. Sometimes I need to use it on Windows, and other times on Ubuntu.
Having to log in again every time is really troublesome for those who need to work across two computers.
Is Cursor crazy? What’s with this rule? Is your coder 16 years old?
Very bad, two computers, but you need to log in again each time. These restrictions are not stated at the time of purchase, you are disrespecting the user!
I encountered this yesterday, it’s so uncomfortable
As someone who regularly switches between a Mac during the day and a Windows laptop in the evening to continue working, I find it incredibly inconvenient to log out and log in repeatedly.
This policy seems unnecessarily restrictive for legitimate use cases like mine. Many professionals work across multiple devices throughout their day, and forcing us to constantly re-authenticate creates friction in our workflow.
At the very minimum, Cursor should support simultaneous login across different terminals/devices. This is a standard feature in most modern development tools, and the current limitation feels outdated and impractical.
I hope the Cursor team will reconsider this policy, as it’s creating unnecessary obstacles for users with multi-device workflows. This change would significantly improve the user experience for many of us.
