Describe the Bug

The website will automatically log you out every hour or so.

Steps to Reproduce

I need to check the number of requests frequently, but now I have to log in several times a day, and I always log out and log in frequently, which is unreasonable

Operating System

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Version: 1.0.0
VSCode Version: 1.96.2

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Unfortunately it’s on purpose, so called security reasons.

I also noticed this.
Is this really so unsecure to keep the session as any other systems do?
I consider this as a bug.

Thanks for flagging this. It is currently a security reason, but I’ll throw this to the team to see if we can improve on it!

since we can revoke device

I think no harm to let people have longer session

Just to feed back here, we’ve increased the session length to 12 hours!
