Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey, thanks for the report.

Known issue: workspace storage can get corrupted after the chat crashes.

Workaround for macOS:

  1. Fully quit Cursor
  2. Open ~/Library/Application Support/Cursor/User/workspaceStorage/
  3. Find the folder for the workspace you need (you can sort by “Date Modified”, it should be the most recent one)
  4. Delete state.vscdb and state.vscdb.backup from that folder
  5. Start Cursor and open the project again

Downside: you’ll lose chat history and open tabs for that workspace.
