Bugbot is now over 3x faster, 22% cheaper, and finds more bugs

Today, we’re shipping our biggest set of improvements to Bugbot yet.

Bugbot is now over 3x faster, ~22% cheaper, and finds ~10% more bugs per review. The average review now finishes in about 90 seconds (down from ~5 minutes), and 90% of runs finish in under three minutes. That means you catch issues sooner and merge faster.

What’s new:

  • Faster, cheaper, sharper: ~90s average reviews, ~22% lower cost, and ~10% more bugs found per run (0.62, up from 0.56).
  • Run Bugbot before you push: Use /review (or /review-bugbot and /review-security) right from your editor. It even syncs with GitHub and GitLab, skipping duplicate reviews on the same diff.
  • Incremental review: Configure Bugbot to review just what’s changed since its last pass, so feedback stays focused on your latest updates.
  • Now powered by Composer 2.5: The speed and quality gains come from our latest model. Bugbot also respects model block lists and falls back automatically if your org has opted out.
