Built an aphasia speech therapy app with Cursor — solo, from zero to App Store

Hey Cursor community!

Sharing AANI, my AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) app — originally built for aphasia patients at the Chiang Mai Cursor Hackathon, where it took first place against 27 teams.

What it is

AANI is a communication app that adapts to each user’s life. Beta testers showed me fast that the need was much broader than aphasia — so I rebuilt it for the wider AAC audience.

The core idea: AI generates a completely personal word and phrase library based on who you are — your hobbies, your work, your daily routines. No generic word banks. No one-size-fits-all content. Every user ends up with an app that reflects their actual life.
