Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?
Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
When I use the built‑in browser’s “Select element” tool in Cursor, clicking on any DOM element opens a new agent chat tab instead of just selecting/inspecting the element. This makes the “Select element” feature effectively unusable.
Steps to Reproduce
Open a project in Cursor.
Open the built‑in browser / preview panel.
Click the “Select element” (element picker) button.
Move the mouse over the page and click on any element.
Expected Behavior
The element picker should select the clicked DOM element in the built‑in browser / devtools context (highlight it, show its info, etc.) and not open a new agent chat.
Operating System
Windows 10/11
Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Additional Information
This happens consistently for me on the version above.
I’ve confirmed there is no setting I changed that would cause “Select element” to open a new chat.
Happy to provide a short screen recording if helpful.
