Hey @DannyB, thanks for the report, and glad the shortcut got you going again.
The (+) button opening Create New Bot was an intentional change in 0.71. Group chats are still there, but there’s no longer a visible way to reach them from the main UI, and I can see why that’s frustrating when you were relying on it to start a fresh thread with a Bot. I’ve passed that feedback along to the team.
For reference, the path you found: press Ctrl+Shift+N (Cmd+Shift+N on macOS), or open the command palette with Ctrl+K and choose “New group chat”, then pick a single Bot and press Enter. That opens a new room with just that Bot and an empty conversation, and your existing 1:1 chat stays where it is.
The bigger request, a built-in way to start fresh with the same Bot without carrying the whole history forward, is something the team is aware of. You’ve already added to Grok Bot: prune/compact an agent’s context without creating a new Bot, so that’s the best thread to follow for it.
