We’re experiencing high demand right now. Please upgrade to Pro or try again in a few moments.
However I am already upgraded to Pro. The model is set to auto, however I have disabled Grok as the incident mentions affecting Grok-based services. Still I have received this and want to know if this is expected due to the incident, or due to some other impact.
Or alternatively if there is a separate tier subscription meant, if that can be clarified. Thanks!
Hey, thanks for the report and for including the Request ID.
Two separate things are happening here.
The “High Load” error is real. At the time of your request, we were shedding Auto traffic due to the same service degradation you mentioned, see status.cursor.com. It’s safe to retry, and it’s not related to your account or plan. Turning off Grok in settings won’t change anything here, because Auto picks the model server-side, and your request was dropped before any model was selected.
The “Please upgrade to Pro” part is incorrect for paid plans. You’re already on Pro, so there’s nothing to upgrade, and it wouldn’t have changed anything. This is a known issue with the message text and we’re tracking it. I’ve passed your report to the team.
While the degradation is ongoing, retrying after a couple seconds usually works, or pick a specific model in the selector instead of Auto, for example Composer 2.5. If you still see errors after the incident is marked resolved on the status page, send a fresh Request ID and we’ll take another look.
