I reside in China and consider $20 per month to be quite expensive. With $20, I can have approximately 15 meals. I don’t even need 500 fast requests per month (I can wait 
). Could you please provide a more affordable plan for new users, such as $10?

+1 for this. Another reason is that I am not using Composer that much with 500 requests. I love Cursor Tab and that is why I choose Cursor over Windsur or Github Copilot. I always end each month with more than 300 requests left. With such low usage with composer, another cheaper plan would be more suitable for users like me. Maybe a cheaper plan with just 200 premium requests or just a plan for only Cursor Tab feature.

Just noting that you get down to $16/mo if you go with the yearly plan.
AI IDEs are developing so rapidly that I believe it’s not a wise idea to pay for a single tool annually.
Fair; I thought the same in ~October 2023.
After two months of MoM subs to Cursor, I realised that these guys get it. They ship like crazy and listen to feedback. Went yearly, haven’t looked back.

Unfortunately, our upstream costs to the LLM providers are fixed, which means we can’t offer any kind of discounting at this time, as we still have to pay our own bills!
The $20/month price plan is a very deliberate choice to try and keep the cost low enough that people can sign up, but high enough that we can still provide a solid amount of AI queries as part of the plan.
As a temporary workaround, you may want to use an API key, as this would mean you get charged only for what you use. But you do run the risk of spending more than $20 on this, if you are a power user.
