Cannot write in chat prompt / chat editor broken 2

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Same as Cannot write in chat prompt / chat editor broken

Steps to Reproduce

Same as Cannot write in chat prompt / chat editor broken

Expected Behavior

Please remove the “close after X day” feature of this forum. This is a total nonsense as it does not allow to backtrack anything and basically forces you to recreate new bugs. GitHub issue handling rules, but your forum just breaks it, yet you encourage users to do the bug-reporting here.

I try to be nice and polite. However, this kind of behaviour just makes me waste my time for a product I pay for. I was trying to be as respectful as I could in my various posts, but seing the system forcing me by design to waste my time is quite irritating, I must admit that the more time passes by, the more inclined I become to just rant gratuitously at the devs (not-mentioning self hosting a Qwen3-30B and using Zed all the way).

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Hey, sorry I reopened the thread, but thanks. We might increase the time before a thread is closed.

@deanrie Thanks. I really feel this should be implemented, since I already saw a couple time other people opening new threads just because they could not post on older threads. This creates unnecessary noise, even for you guys, I think.
