Can't add deepseek/deepseek-chat-v3-0324:free OpenRouter model

OpenRouter just made available newest DeepSeek-V3 update.

In v0.48 I can’t add the model with that name:
deepseek/deepseek-chat-v3-0324:free

It just doesn’t appear in the Models list?

Hey, you need to add this model manually. To do this, open Cursor settings with Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + J, go to the Models tab, and add it to the list at the bottom.

But that is the only way I always do it , but it doesn’t get added for me. (Windows 11, v0.48)

That’s strange. Have you tried restarting Cursor? Try rolling back to a previous version.

Has the same issue with the latest version of Cursor

I managed to add new models (not only this deepseek one) with ENTER key but not add model key after typing the name of it - just press Enter instead of button Add mew model

getting Invalid Model message when I choose it later.
I ended up installing Cline in Cursor to get this to work.
