Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Hey Kevin!

You’ve got this right, it’s a bug on our end, and it’s one we’re already tracking. The cloud Logout button in the desktop app currently doesn’t clear the authentication, so the server keeps showing as Connected even after you click it.

In the meantime you can clear the cloud auth from the web dashboard instead: open the MCP settings from the dropdown at cursor.com/agents and disconnect the server there. That path clears it correctly, even though the desktop button doesn’t yet.

This is on our radar and I’ll update here once a fix ships.

Hey @Kevin_Scott,

The cloud MCP logout button not working was fixed in a recent Cursor update (3.12.17) — updating to the latest version should resolve it, and you won’t need the web-dashboard workaround anymore. Let me know if you still hit it!

Thanks - works now!
