After last update, CMD+V functionality disabled, as well as context menu in chat window.

What OS?

Ah, I assume Mac. This happens for anytime you try to paste in chat? Any reproduction steps? Having a hard time replicating

Sorry, missed your reply.
Yes, it’s Mac OS. I’ve noticed that sometimes it works but I can’t say what it depends from. I’m just trying to past anything to the chat and it won’t allow me to, also no context menu to past manually. So I can past something only by selecting the code and opening new chat window, which is not enough as usually I want to past something to follow up my previous questions or something from outside my file.

Getting this as well at the moment, and I’m on:

If you run “cmd+shift+p > reload window”, does this persist?

I updated today, and since then, I’ve had this problem.

Yes, it persists after “cmd+shift+p > reload window”.

This is my first bug report on ANY tool - that’s how frustrating this is.

Thanks for help!

Also, CMD + C does not work; I can only copy content from the chat window by using the copy button, which is usually not what I’d prefer to do (often need just part of the code).

Could you submit an in-app bug report? This will send us your error logs. You can do this by hitting the feedback button on the top right.

Also would be helpful to know what you see if you move the current version of Cursor to the trash and install this old version:
https://download.cursor.sh/builds/2401083eyk8kmzc/mac/zip/arm64

If the issue is resolved, then would be helpful if you could delete that version again, and install this one (https://download.cursor.sh/builds/24011721vsch1l1/mac/zip/arm64) and report what you see

I have the same problem. As a workaround, you can use the menu command Edit->Paste

I also have this issue since quite a while with latest version of everything. Often also in VS Code extensions like Thunder client. Or if I want to insert passwords from 1passwords. It’s quite annoying.
