Can't stop Cloud agent mid-run

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Describe the Bug

I see “Follow ups are disabled in subagents”. Yet, when my agent is clearly doing something very wrong, I can’t even stop it or kill it? This makes me feel like Cursor is forcing me to spend/burn tokens. Doubt that’s actually the intent, but this is a pretty awful user experience.

This happened after I asked a Cloud agent to create a video showing the bug fix

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

Actually, it seems the agent has completed, and yet I still cannot add a follow up response. Cloud agents are thus rendered unusable for the fix I’m trying to make.

Hi @Luca_Loncar Thanks for the post! You’re right, and you’ve pointed out what appears to be a UX gap. I agree and I replicated, I was unable to stop a subagent. I’m filing a backlog item for this and we’ll let you know any updates. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
