This looks very similar to a number of other issues on the forum and ones I’ve seen, but there’s a clear certificate issue happening on 2 separate devices and platforms, I have tried this with both Mac and Windows, on windows with a fresh install. I am unable to update mac cursor because of this problem. I have logged out of cursor, but am unable to log back in because of this issue.
Whenever I try to do anything it fails.
Behind the scenes the developer tools are repeatedly raising the below:

workbench.desktop.main.js:97
GET https://api2.cursor.sh/auth/poll?uuid=0ad1aa47-ec0b-4a02-94bc-373361fade3b&verifier=EcWjQLTES2fvvWCnztE_V28kFrTyw3wpUb1QKSlVmxk net::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID

There is also a warning in vsCode when trying to update that the server has returned an invalid certificate.

This is resolved now for me, without changes on my side. Application was down from 09:30-18:00 GMT.
