Chat context limited to 70k for a 200K model

Describe the Bug

I used Opus4.6 Max Thinking model. And gave it a task ( on a new chat) . I noticed several “chat context summarized” within a a few seconds and context indicator filling up. It indicated that there was only 70K context for that model .

Steps to Reproduce

Use Opus 4.6 Max Thinking Model , send a query and observe the context size

Expected Behavior

It should show 200K context

Claude Opus 4.6 Max Thinking ( But not on MAX mode )

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

I notice you’re on version 2.3.41 - could you update to the latest version (Help > Check for Updates or re-download from cursor.com/downloads) and let us know if the issue persists? I’ve shared this with the team along with your request ID for investigation.
