Describe the Bug
My cursor chat history has disappeared. I can not for the life of me understand how. Nothing major had changed. I simply opened everything up this morning and chat history gone. all the credits and time spent training the agent on my github, the work completed… all lost. I’ve downgraded my subscription, will not be renewing and will be looking for a replacement IDE and agent. I didn’t spend 80 bucks to spend 2 full days hunting for lost chat bubbles and trying to debug a supabase connection. This AI stuff is no more than a gimmick. Absolute junk. And you can bet I’m about to light up social media regarding my experience.
Event the interface to create this new topic is horrible. Required fields are completely out of view?? WTF?

I have no intention of reproducing this nor do I know how it occurred. Good luck.
Expected Behavior
I want my chats to persist every day and if there’s something that is about to jeopardize that I want everything to stop and a notice to be invoked.

Fix it. You can’t have it both ways… AI is the solution to everything. Except your needs. You’re doing it wrong. No. Not buying it. I got too many people and entities trying to steal my money. Get your ■■■■ together. Hallucinations… your problem. Not mine. Guard rails… .md files… rules… etc. you can’t prompt me for those. you want the lay user to vibe-code products? you want to see a revolution? Hire the right experience architects that understand how to better onboard non-devs into these worlds and you can have your cake and eat it too. keep doing this nonesense and the bubble will burst. I’d wish you luck but I think you’re going to need more than that. Thieves. All of you.
