Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?
Cursor IDE
Describe the Bug
Lately after a cursed update, although not the first time since i use Cursor, i loose access to my chat on a daily basis or each app restart.
It happenned in the past where the only solution was to uninstall cursed completely with a specialized uninstaller and start fresh. Now I’ve done the same, but no matter how often i re-installed cursed it wont save my chat.
The situation is not tolerable as i cannot continue where i left off the following day or during the same day if i’m forced to restart the app for whichever reason.
I paid for theses evolving conversation and more importantly the precious time i have put into theses research with the AI are completely lost, and force me to restart new every day loosing context and huge amount of time.
I’ve read all there is around on the subject and none of the solution already in this community such as using 3rd party addon works. i’ve spent also countless hours trying to debug it myself.
After 6 months and more of this issue (Just counting my experience), i would have thought that a cursed AI team with the help of their “genius” AI would have figured that one. Unless i’m wrong about the team and the AI.
Why is this issue not addressed.
I know i’m going to be told that if my system was low in disk space it might have caused this, but imagine if Microsoft, Apple or any other major developper could simply used this excuse?
I’m not after a try this and that, i’m after Cursed team finding a solution for all of it’s community, because without it’s community Cursed is nothing.
PS. I apologize for the autocorrect
Steps to Reproduce
