Cursor was working fine few hours back. Now, getting this frequently. I am a PRO user and using cursor in Ubuntu 22.04. Internet connection is fine. Is this related to “service degradation” issue ?
This issue started recurring again
Today we had some slight issues, but everything should be working normally now. I also don’t see any problems on my side. Are you using a VPN? If so, try disabling it and check again.
No, You don’t have some slight issues. You have biiiiig issue. Just read all the forum posts, and imagine how much users have same problem not posting here.
Personally I have the problem now 24 hours.

You are loosing all your reputation very soon. And windsurf and others are there now…
There are also issues with the Claude model.
Look at the bug reports in the forum, this is widespread. Each of these relate to basically the same thing. There are comments on each post within the last 1hr
Most of these reports were from some degradation we suffered earlier to our authentication system, which stopped a few things from running as smoothly as we’d like!
That’s resolved now, but most of the issues during that time should no longer be a problem.
well, they returned, since over an hour…

I’m sorry, you can not charge money for something called pro, which is not working stable.
You can sell and talk on Podcasts about for fun, but not selling to companies or professional workers. that’s sorry, just BS.
Hi, sorry about the error here!
From that error, it looks like an unreleased issue to this post. I’d recommend you try to delete and reindex your codebase, as it seems like it may have got corrupted or lost along the way somewhere - sorry!
We are working hard to improve the stability and performance of Cursor, and have many users who use Cursor with no issues, but Cursor is still in heavy development and unfortunately, bugs and issues can occur!
If you continue to see any issues, feel free to drop me a message here, or send an email to hi@cursor.com (a few days wait right now, but that will be going down very soon) and we’ll help you out!
tks for your answer and email (i will answer soon)
Just to correct. It worked for hours yesterday, and then, in the middle of a session, it came back to the Try Again.
And yeah. Its new, bugs still happen. Ok until here. But you already charge for it. So…
I can confirm that deleting and new Sync, plus a fresh Composer session, resolved the issue.
improving the error misleading error message would help both user and your support imho.
Tks
For me it just “generating” forever. Tried with gpt-4o and claude-3.5-sonnet. Just showing that it “generating” something until I am manually cancel it.
