Chat silently fails

this problem is sometimes resolved when i restart my mac book - but not always - reinstalling cursor does not help resolve the problem.

when i enter or cmd+enter - the context is read but then without giving me a response it just stops and goes back to the chat editor. if i restart my mac book - the problem might go away but not always - there are not feedback on what has gone wrong either - just a silent fail. Any one else has had this issue ?

can anyone help with this ?

No one is having this problem !

Any one seeing this today is 20/11/2024 - use brew install cursor - instead as this is still working - resolves this behaviour
