When I close and re-open Cursor, the number of chat tabs I have open is automatically reduced. Any number will be left open rather than all of my previous chat tabs staying open. Is this a bug? What is the logic behind this feature? Is there any way the Cursor team can make this togglable? Why would I want my chat tabs to be arbitrarily closed on my behalf??
Thanks for reporting this. To help investigate - can you confirm your Cursor version (Help > About) and OS? Also, are the chat conversations completely gone, or can you still access them via the chat history? This will help determine if it’s a tab restoration issue or if the history itself is being lost.
