Chats close automatically. I can’t figure out what the logic is, they just do. I like to work with 3-5 in parallel but they end up closing and it drives me mad. It’s RANDOM as far as I can tell.

Hey, this is a known issue. You already posted in the thread where we’re tracking it: Cursor automatically closes large chat tabs

There’s a workaround. In Settings > Agents, find Max Tab Count and set it to unlimited or a higher value. The default limit is 5, and after an IDE restart it can be even stricter, down to 3 tabs. That’s why it can look like tabs are closing randomly.
