Claude 3.7 does not respect rules

  1. I would do a **/*.py as the Auto Attach

This means any file in any directory ending in .py, your rule would only attach to files in the root directory

  1. You can see in the chat window, which rules are included

  2. Both your description and Auto Attach should be very specific, as those two determine if it will be included or not

Is there a video you would recommend to learn about this cursor rules mdc?

When I ask Claude 3.7 (in chat) to spell out rules, it writes them (and example from just a moment ago, from yet another change not respecting rules). However, it often ignores them when creating code, even very explicit ones.
