**/*.py as the Auto AttachThis means any file in any directory ending in .py, your rule would only attach to files in the root directory
You can see in the chat window, which rules are included
Both your description and Auto Attach should be very specific, as those two determine if it will be included or not

I was not able to edit the post, so here is a template. I’m sorry about that.
When I ask Claude 3.7 (in chat) to spell out rules, it writes them (and example from just a moment ago, from yet another change not respecting rules). However, it often ignores them when creating code, even very explicit ones.
