Claude 3.7 MAX Option Missing

I have the latest 4.8 version which even shows the new custom mode option but I cannot seem to find the new Claude MAX model in the settings

Hey, it’s possible that this model is disabled. Go to Cursor settings, press Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + J, navigate to the Models tab, and check if the model is enabled.

it does not even appear in my models tab. What is weird is that neither does claude3.7-thinking but I can still use it in the chat window

It looks like your API key is enabled. Try disabling it. If that doesn’t work, add these models manually.

I confirm it’s not working & displaying with openai key entered. After disabling it works.
