For AI issues: which model did you use?

sonnet 4.5 thinking or normal one

Additional Information

the prompt works sometimes - when i press Ok - just starts then fails.. nothing happens .. then other times . it makes error .. other time it works ..

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Sometimes - I can sometimes use Cursor

I use it tons every day and it works for me.. are you using your own API key?

If a model chat fails then you need to attach the ID of that interaction so the devs could investigate the reason.

Hey, thanks for the report. To help diagnose the issue, please clarify:

  • The exact error message when trying to use Claude models
  • Whether you’re using Cursor’s built-in Claude API or your own API key
  • Whether other models (e.g., GPT-5) work
  • Whether you use a VPN, proxy, or any software that controls your internet connection

Also try:

  • Connecting to a different network (e.g., a mobile hotspot)
  • Ensuring your firewall isn’t blocking the connection
