Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. The error you’re seeing is usually related to a network connectivity issue. Please try the following:

  1. Run network diagnostics:
  • Open Cursor Settings → Network → click “Run Diagnostics”
  • Share the results here
  1. Create a new chat and check if the issue happens there as well

This helped fix the same error for another user.

It would also be helpful to know:

  • Are you using a VPN or a corporate network?
  • Do other models (for example, GPT-5) work for you?

Let me know what you find!

Hi,

It has nothing to do with the network.

If I change other models then it is working fine, when I switch it to Claude-4.5 sonnet then only it is throwing this error.

Today Again I checked again the same issue is coming

I am having the same issue. I can get Gemini 3 working, but its stuttering. Clause 4.5 wont work at all - cant connect to the model. The last few days have been terrible in Cursor

Yes, I guess it is happening since the composer came in to the field.

I’m having the same issue since an update.

Today I am getting the error for claude-4.5-opus-high

There is not network issue and works if I select different models but with this model, this issue is very frequesnt

Hey @Swaroopa_Babaleshwar, thanks for the detailed reports with request IDs.

This issue has been affecting several users over the past week. A similar report was resolved on Nov 25 after a server fix.

Could you please confirm:

  • Are you still experiencing this issue?
  • If yes, could you share network diagnostics results: Cursor Settings → Network → Run Diagnostics

Also worth trying:

  • Disable HTTP/2: CMD+, → search “HTTP/2” → enable “Disable HTTP/2” → restart Cursor
  • Create a new chat to see if the issue persists

Let me know if the problem continues after these steps!

I am using claude-4.5-opus-high

with this 2 days back I was facing some issues, but now it is working totally fine.

But this new model is not working with MAX mode
