Why is claude 4 absolutely the best model for coding on https://claude.ai/, but when I am in cursor IDE, it is absolutely an idiot?
Steps to Reproduce
Go to https://claude.ai/ propose a complex modification within a complex codebase, get a roughly 70% success rate. Perform the same request from cursor IDE and you may as well be talking to an unplugged GPU hoping for an intelligent response. Are you saving money by some kind of degraded service fraud scheme?
Expected Behavior
What is meant to happen is for claude to code and perform architectural analysis intelligently as it does on claude.ai
