Describe the Bug
I use Claude Code in a terminal window to do small tasks while Cursor agent grinds, and this frequently caused the Cursor IDE to crash.
I think this is a Cursor problem rather than a Claude Code problem, because it should not be possible for a terminal window to crash the entire IDE.
Hopefully Cursor can see the app crashes (if not, please let me know how to share them)
Steps to Reproduce
Open three Cursor windows.
Get the Cursor agents cranking.
Open a Claude Code terminal in each.
Get Claude Code cranking.
Copy a large block of text (1000 lines of log output or whatever into a Claude Code terminal.
Watch the “pty host” become unresponsive and then Cursor windows all crash and close.
Expected Behavior
If a terminal window crashes, it should not take down the IDE.
Operating System
