I find myself cursing at Cursor extremely frequently these days and its all due to the fact that when you click on an already selected extension/icon in the Primary Side Bar, it closes the side bar completely.
I’ve looked and looked and found no way to disable this behavior. Please tell me that I’m just missing some setting that’s buried and oddly named.
My VSCODE ( Version: 1.109.1 ) does not have this “feature”.
In the attached animation you can see that when I click between the icons in the primary bar, everything stays open, but it you were to click on one that is already selected, it closes. (I used cmd + B to reopen it.
I wouldn’t even know how to make VSCODE do this if I wanted to. It has to be something that’s baked into Cursor.
