Cloud agents stalling on allocation resources

I used to use cloud agents all the time, now they don’t work 100% of the time. I’m sure there’s an error log somewhere, I just need to know why it’s not working. It always stall like this:

Allocating resources for this agent (request id: bc-5a2dc67f-4d21-45ae-a772-74e45232f42e)…

Hey, thanks for the report. This is a known issue. Cloud agents have been seeing delays and failures lately when allocating VMs.

A couple things you can try for now:

  1. Cancel and restart the cloud agent. Sometimes it picks a different VM pool that’s working.
  2. Check whether your snapshot-20250819 is still up to date. It’s from Aug 2025, so recreating a fresh snapshot might help if the old one has gone stale.

Let me know if retrying helps, or if it still gets stuck consistently.

@deanrie I’m seeing this exact same thing after “onboarding” to the new cloud agent environment (to enable computer use). However, it immediately borked all the cloud agents of the team and there seems to be no way to update or change the snapshot without going through the onboarding WHICH RELIES ON CLOUD AGENTS which is broken!

It’s still stuck for the entire Team.
