Cmd+N. At least give us an option to change

Please provide a way for us to disable the Cmd+N (or Ctrl+N) .

I understand YOU think it’s the best implementation of this, but not all people agree. This combination of keys is widely used as NEW.

Please, please, please give us an option to choose the keys shortcut combination.

Thank you.

This is infuriating. I have lost generated files multiple times now due to clicking “cmd+N“ due to muscle memory (I expect this to create a new file, not delete the generated file).

Terrible UX.

For anyone coming back to this, if I am not mistaken, I think you can go into your keyboard shortcuts, search “reject”, find the right one that is assigned “cmd N”, then right click and select “remove keybinding”.

@cam, that’s the right shortcut to delete for my case. Thanks.

It’s clear from the large number of bug reports / feature requests related to this keybinding–this is not a good default setting.
