Cmd+Shift+Backspace doesn't stop generation

• lots of comments about cmd+backspace, none about the new shift+cmd+backspace

• I can’t stop generation with the keybinding. I also can’t reject a change with the keybinding either.
• I validated that I don’t have any conflicting keybindings in my global Mac OS settings.
• I also deleted the keybindings in the settings.. no luck.

Hey, this is quite strange, it should work by default. Check your custom keybindings in the JSON file.

Strange is right. Just magically started working again. :man_shrugging:
Have no idea how that’s possible, but it did.

Annnnd, now it’s not working again. Only change I made was to add a keybinding for a custom mode… feels like there’s a bug in the way that keybindings are handled. But, can’t quite put my finger on it.

Perhaps it is only working in the chat? and not if you are in the editor?

Multiple shortcuts can be assigned to different areas and different conditions.

I thought the same thing.. I made sure I had my cursor in the chat and it didn’t work.

ok great, you have checked this. Not sure which other cases you tried  but will try to share what i saw others having had as issue

Does anything else intercept the shortcuts?

  • other extensions etc, should be visible in shortcut settings by shortcut search
  • Other tools/global apps/os intercept that shortcut?
