Code-supernova-1-million – No Output in Agent Mode

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Since Sep 27, the model code-supernova-1-million gives no output in Agent Mode:

After sending a prompt, it instantly finishes (sound plays) but no response appears.

In Ask Mode, the model still works fine.

I tried restarting Cursor and updating – issue persists.

In the Cursor dashboard, all Agent Mode calls to this model show as “Errored, Not Charged”

Steps to Reproduce

Open Cursor.

Select model: code-supernova-1-million.

Switch to Agent Mode.

Enter any prompt.

Submit the prompt.

Expected Behavior

The model should return a visible response in Agent Mode, the same way it does in Ask Mode.

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Yes - Cursor is unusable

Yeah, thanks for the report. Do you use any MCP servers? Also, try creating a new chat, this model works correctly in agent mode for me.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I did try creating new chats, but the issue was still the same.

I do use MCP servers, and I had been using this model in Agent Mode a lot over the last few days. Then it suddenly stopped working, and since then I couldn’t use it at all.

But your question actually helped me: I disabled all MCP servers, sent a message, and now it works again!
I then re-enabled the MCPs and it still works fine.

Weird behavior, but thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction!

update: after a few prompts it stops working again but disabling one MCP (PostHog) fixed it again.

update 2: yeah, posthog MCP seems to be the problem?

Thanks for the extra info. We’ll look into it. It seems this MCP server is preventing the model from working properly.
