@codebase as context is gone

The @codebase feature is gone.

Yes, I am up to date. Yes, indexing is enabled, synced, and up to date. Yes, I tried all three modes, agent, manual, and ask.

Selecting “codebase” is no longer an option when choosing a context. There has been some conversation that all modes will now automatically view the whole codebase with every message. However, the responses I am getting are things like “Allow me to view the files so that I can edit them?” implying that they are not accessible to the models.

This feature worked perfectly as it was. The edit mode was perfect as it was. Anyone else experiencing this?

The whole point of using cursor instead of any ai chatbot with vs code is the context feature. If the chatbot cannot see my codebase, I have no use for cursor. Would love an update on this.

It is gone in Ask and Manual modes. It still works (by using ctrl+enter) in the agent mode

I have the same problem, to be honest, it’s not pleasant.

I renewed my subscription once again, but I thought that I would get a service with @codebase access, because this is the main advantage of the aggregator, to analyze some projects and remember the context so as not to manually set the structure and implementation of the project
