I thought the main feature of cursor was that the chat is able to see your whole codebase...?

I can’t get it to actually do that… is there any other AI IDE that can do this? This is the most important feature to me as a beginner coder.

Don’t you just use @codebase in the chat window? That’s how I’ve been doing it and it seems to work

Hey, it depends on what mode you are using!

In Chat and Composer, you can use @codebase and the AI can lookup it’s own context. With agent mode in Composer, it can look the files up itself, so @codebase isn’t needed!
