I use the Codex plugin for Cursor. I have always had it pinned in my left sidebar, but after updating today to 3.10.11 it has disappeared from the list of things to show in that view.
Using Cmd+Shift+P > Codex: Open Codex Sidebar doesn’t bring it back into the view
View: Open View doesn’t list Codex in the available Sidebar options. It does appear in the Explorer section, but using that means it’s squashed under my file explorer panel rather than full height.
Steps to Reproduce
Using Cmd+Shift+P > Codex: Open Codex Sidebar doesn’t bring it back into the view
Thanks for the reports. I can reproduce this on 3.10, while it works on 3.9 (you can still download 3.9 from Cursor · Download). I’ve flagged this for the team!
Experiencing the same issue. Codex only appears in the Explorer section.
Last output of Codex: 2026-07-08 13:49:09.272 [error] Failed to focus Codex view error=“command ‘workbench.view.extension.codexSecondaryViewContainer’ not found”
@MisuSoft@ziv Can you share more about the actions you take that lead it not working? For example, if I run Cmd + Shift + P > Codex: New Codex Agent, I can see the Codex UI.
I found a workaround that worked for me so i am good now. Thanks so much for your fast answer @Colin , I really hope for a stable and solid integration between Cursor and Codex extension on the long run. There are MANY Cursor users that share with me this exact hope.
