When dealing with fairly large files with a decent number of symbols, I tend to keep them collapsed for easier navigation. However, when Cursor is presenting diffs (for applying/rejecting suggestions), it does not expand the symbol. It’s admittedly not the worst thing, but I do think it’d be amazing if it did. Expanding everything where the scrollbar is flagged does get a bit annoying. Again, not the worst thing, but if you’re in that area and it’s an easy change, I’d be eternally grateful.
An absolute dream would be to have the symbols expand in the IDE, and scroll to diffs in order of top-to-bottom relative to the file itself. For multiple files, just in order of response presentation, within the AI interaction panel.
