Composer 2 Too Slow

Hi. I am using composer 2 to monitor and fix some of my experiments. But the respond speed and process speed is just too slow. To complete a simple task, GPT-5.5 can do it very quick but composer 2 is extremely slow, often takes more minutes to complete, and often has the problem of taking longer than expected. I am not sure if the chat history is too long or anything. I even select the fast mode. Is there anything to do to speed it up? Thanks.

We aren’t aware of any issues affecting the performance of Composer 2.5 right now. Can you share a Request ID from a chat that went slow? That way we can have a look at your specific request.

Hi, I am using it to help monitor the my training progress and help generate scripts. All of these tasks are quite slow and when I switch to GPT-5.5, it can complete the task very fast. For example this: 83a18f75-7186-40f4-8f0d-adb1ea3bc96f.

Thanks @Yudhpt! We’re investigating some elevated time-to-first-token (TTFT) on the deployment your request hit. Doesn’t appear to be widespread but we’re looking into it.

Same for me.
Composer 2.5 FAST is super slow. Like unreal slow

Same here, I have to retry something like five times for each request.

That is just unacceptable. I don’t care you’re experiencing high demand, I’m paying for it.

We faced some performance issues with Composer 2.5 this morning (see our statuspage) which should be fixed now. Sorry for the disruption.
