composer 2 becomes slow and quality is low as well, and the price is becoming higher

Steps to Reproduce

writing any prompt with composer 2 fast model or even normal mode

Expected Behavior

it should be fast as it used to be the last month

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hi there!

Are you still dealing with some slowness? Feel free to share a Request ID which lets us have a look in the backend.

In the meantime, you can try:

  1. Cursor Settings > Network > Run Diagnostics to see if it’s network-related
  2. In App Settings Cmd/Ctrl+,, search for HTTP/2 and turn on Disable HTTP/2, then restart Cursor. This often helps with VPNs or corporate proxies.
  3. Start a new chat. If the current one is already long, the context might have grown and slowed down tool calls. See this related thread: Agent shell gets progressively slower, then eventually hangs

If it’s still slow after that, send the Request ID and we’ll take a deeper look.

Hello Colin,
tried all the above, i think it is related to server capacity and load, it used to be fantastic last month, am an ultra user and really upset of the speed issue and tried to switch from cursor.
you already know what happens from last month to this month (no offense by any means)

It is not related to specific request it a general slowness using kimi 2.5 or gpt 5.5 for the same prompt was much faster
