I am using cursor on my macOS and windows machines.
I can use my API keys for Anthropic and OpenAI models normally on Windows machines.
However, on macOS I am getting a message that Cursor Pro is required and that the composer relies on custom models that cannot be billed to an API key.
Hey, this is not an error. You can’t use your API key in Composer, you need a subscription. Your API keys only work in Chat and Inline Chat (Cmd + K).
Yes but the composer is working on my windows machine and not on the mac. That is why I am confused
The Composer feature requires Cursor Pro to work - sounds like the issue here might be that Cursor is not picking up your subscription on Mac.
