Composer Stuck On Generating

I have read in previous posts that people also had this issue, I thought it might be just down, I came back to the terminal the next day, but its still stuck on “generating”

I have restarted my pc (More than once). I also noticed a “Bug Finder” tab appeared next to the composer that I am sure wasnt there yesterday.

Any help to resolve this would be great as ive been on the project for 12+ hours (I am loving Cursor, I do agree the credits get eaten up quick when there are errors, but it is early in the systems life)

Yes, this has happened to me as well in the last 45mins…I didn’t recall an upgrade, but this morning the ‘Bug Finder’ tab was added for me, too. It’s now unusable.

Like others have reported - starting a new Composer seems to resolve it (…it wasn’t a large session to begin with); like you, I restarted the pc etc., to no avail. Cheers

This started for me last night…composer completely locks up. today has been even worse…have to restart composer session then after 1 or 2 messages it completely freezes up. as a result Cursor has become completely unusable for me. I’ve restarted multiple times, new composer sessions, even entirely uninstalled and reinstalled Cursor and still having the same issue. Mid project of course and it’s completely stopped working. even upgraded fast responses the day before…

Yeah ive done this, but its literally like starting from fresh, unless im not finding how to link the old composer to the new?

Cursor is nnot moving past the generating stage

Same Problem here: when I work on my project and have to turn off my computer to go to sleep, in the morning it gets stuck in generating forever so I have to create a new composer chat and it loses all the context so for some features it’s taking me way more time then what it should of.

this is still happening for me…it completely stopped responding on one laptop i was using it on but was working on a second laptop. now that instance is doing the exact same thing…completely stopped responding in Composer entirely. new composer session doesn’t even work. have restarted cursor, restarted the computer, reinstalled cursor, no luck. of course it’s happened right at the tail end of a project and despite emailing support no response for a week now…almost feels like there is a local cache or something that gets maxed out…

I highly doubt this issue comes from restarting pc. (I got this issue after restarting)
