Has anyone ever had the issue where when you open the inline composer, ⌘+i
on MacOS, the composer window gets docked to the top of the IDE, and then there’s no way to close it without restarting Cursor completely? Is this a known bug?
if you extend your screenshot do you have a close x box in the upper right? I think that’s just how the UI is designed that composer is floating over the entire interface
I can’t extend it, unfortunately. It’s docked to the top when the bug is activated. I just updated to 0.41.0, will see if I can reproduce it again.
I’ve put mine off the top of the screen, it’s a floating window, you can grab it on the word “Completed” in your screenshot with a mouse drag and drag it down to make the “close x” visible. [ctrl-shift-p should have some composer disable/enable toggles if that does not work ]
good luck.
Thanks deanrie (just to note the keyboard shortcut below is command-shift-downarrow or ctrl-shift-downarrow)
You can use this keyboard shortcut to reset the position.
