Configuring MCP can easily cause issues with chatting with the model

I’m using the Windows version, and I develop by connecting to an Ubuntu server via SSH.
When configuring multiple MCP servers in SSE mode, if any one of the MCP servers is unstable, sending a chat message will hang and not return a response. Deleting all MCP configurations resolves the issue.
When I first encountered this issue, I tried installing different versions of Cursor to ensure normal use, but later realized that many versions have the same problem (including the latest 0.50). It was only because MCP configurations are stored in different locations in different versions, so MCP doesn’t take effect and things work normally.
The effects are independent for different windows. If I open a new window and establish an SSH connection, whether I can chat depends on the MCP connection status. If MCP is abnormal, chatting won’t work; otherwise, it works fine.
