Cursor 2.0 hit right on the spot. As the great opinion leader “Fireship” said 52 minutes ago (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HIp8sFB2GGw).
“Cursor is for people who know how to code, but hate writing code”
And honestly, I like the new features added to Cursor 2.0
What is missing? Better keyboard support
The features are nice, now I want to move across the Cursor agentic IDE faster.
There are many keyboard bindings on VS Code already, but some controls I would like to see are:
- Better bindings for “Review” window - collapse different files on the review view, accept, move across these revisions (collapse across different files)
- Better support for the Browser tab - Rn I have to click and select the component I want to add. With Chrome, I can just press tab to select elements across a page.
- Add some keybinding to quickly copy and paste only the last terminal output to chat.
- Add a keybinding to add logs from the browser tab dev tools to chat.
