I just read about the improvements to version 0.48 and it’s looking great!
Kudos for improving user control over “modes”!
Unrelated to that, here goes my request.
My usecase relies on using keyboard only as much as possible.
In 0.45 it is possible navigate all cursor features (modes), using keyboard only.
It’s possible to jump from editor to chat, or to composer, using shortcuts only, and back to editor by pressing ESC, also to terminal using “cmd backtick” and so on. These are keyboards shortcuts customized in cursor IDE (keybindinds.json).
Its a way to abstract the IDE, focus on it’s underlying functionality and bypassing the visual complexity to relieve mental overload over extended working sessions.
So, i kindly request to keep or provide shorcuts to different modes in future updates as the user interface and user flow changes.
Cursor is great, thanks.
