Getting persistent “Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN” error.

Troubleshooting tried:

  • Switched WiFi & mobile hotspot
  • Toggled VPN
  • Restarted app & computer

Issue persists across all networks. Any help appreciated!

Same here. Not using a VPN, internet working fine. Tried restarting app, restarting computer, and logging out / logging back in.

anyone else with this issue? was working on a project and the connection failed. was using claude 3.7, but none of the models are working? not sure what gives. so disruptive.

@Heel-Hook There are a good amount of reports of similar issues in other threads. I just tried starting a new chat, and that did the trick. It just lost my former chat’s context.

Awesome! Glad it worked!

@mrco got back to my “past chats” on the bottom of the screen and was able to capture the gist of what I was working on (however the connection was still messed up in that chat) so i had to recreate the session. be kind of nice if we could export chats in to a knowledge base.
