Connection failed. If the problem persists, please check your internet connection or VPN (Request ID: 07bfc7dd-b891-4dbf-92c8-215532b57dd2)

This has been persistent for the past 3 days and I have lost a lot of time working. Having to find a way around.

This has disrupted the workflow i developed and has caused me to look around for alternative. Can you please explain what is happening? Should I just download a previous version? I am on the most recent but nothing goes through.

I met the same problem. I didn’t connect any VPN and my internet was super stable. It happens all the time.

I was not using a VPN and had perfect internet connection at the time it was happening.

Hey, just a thought considering another common issue reported here in recent days: what if you disconnect the MCP servers? Would that help?

Honestly I dont think it was the MCP servers as the agent is now serving again.

We need more transparency around Agent feature and API. I notice Agent is not on the Server Status page and I am sure it is being served up via api.

So with the API black boxed it could be down and we not even know.

I also had a similar error, it was especially unpleasant that it occurred after the first request in the chat when using the cursor for the first time (file indexing also stopped working)
